Photo Album: Spray Insulating a 100+ year old home
We were called upon by a homeowner to offer a solution for insulating there 100+ year old home during a small renovation they were completing. After researching options they knew they wanted to go with spray insulating to maximize the insulation in the 2x4 walls. By using the Lapolla FoamLock 2000 we were able to achieve an R-21 which is better than most homes built with 2x6 walls and better than any home using fiberglass insulation. This home will be far more efficient and comfortable while being quieter and structurally stronger than many new homes.
